Fresno native and former Fresno Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center Veterinary Assistant, Dr. Katherine Burt is a UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine alumni, graduating in 2013. Dr. Burt recently completed a year-long internship at a 24-Hour Emergency and Specialty Center in San Diego, California.  Veterinary medicine has taken her from her hometown of Fresno to distant continents, including Africa.  She is pleased to be returning home to work as an emergency veterinarian at the hospital of her former team and FVSEC family. She has two cats and a Chihuahua, and can’t imagine a better profession to be a part of. Dr. Burt is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
